Saturday October 11, 2025 Art Parties & Events bring us a wonderful bunch of things to do in LA. While the LA Printers Fair & Art at the Airport are back, CAAM & A+P collaborate on a new exhibition. The Los Angeles Printers Fair is back at the International Printing Museum in Carson. It is the largest celebration of letterpress, paper arts, as well as book artistry in the West. Celebrated Detroit-based artist Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. of KENNEDY PRINTS is scheduled to headline the event.
Moreover, tickets are good for both days; Parking is free. The Festival Chapin de Los Angeles is back with its 9th edition. The festival begins today and will run across a seven-blocks in the heart of the Guatemalan community in Lafayette Park. The two-day Free community event is open to all and will offer Guatemalan music and food as well as arts and crafts. The Festival Chapin de Los Angeles is completely free and open to all ages. Jaja’s African Hair Braiding continues its run at the Mark Taper Forum. bG Gallery hosts an art talk with the artist Gay Summer Rick and art writer Shana Nys Dambrot. The conversation takes place in conjunction with its current exhibition Stratus. Michael Kohn Gallery presents Dorian’s Gardens by New York-based artist Nir Hod. Across the artist’s 30-year career, he has consistently delved into the duality of human nature as subject matter for his paintings.
