A complete collector experience for fine art photography enthusiasts, PHOTO INDEPENDENT, PHOTOBOOK INDEPENDENT & PHOTO CONTEMPORARY will provide a comprehensive look at the photography landscape including the best independent fine art photographers that are not represented by galleries, art galleries showcasing photography and books on photography.

“We are very excited about our 2015 edition of PHOTO INDEPENDENT. Our first year was quite successful for our participating artists. Many sold works and some have received gallery representation. With that in mind, we’ve expanded to include a gallery section to facilitate a more direct connection between artists, collectors and galleries. We’ve also launched a book section. These three components provide something for every photo lover,” states Chris Davies, Founder & Producer of the fair.

PHOTO CONTEMPORARY, a new sectiphoto-independent-LAAA-1030x686on for gallery participation, provides an opportunity for galleries to connect with the artists participating in PHOTO INDEPENDENT and collectors who prefer a traditional gallery-based experience. PHOTOBOOK INDEPENDENT, a new section devoted to photography books and publishers will showcase a wide array of contemporary and historic books curated for photo enthusiasts.

PHOTO INDEPNDENT will present a series of photography lectures. The schedule and RSVP details will be posted at www.PhotoIndependent.com

Produced by Fabrik Media, an LA-based multifaceted publishing and marketing agency, PHOTO INDEPENDENT’s goal — to connect professional and emerging photographic artists with larger global audiences — is in line with the company’s overarching mission to support and provide a regional and international network for artists. Scheduled to run concurrently with, and next door to, Paris Photo Los Angeles, PHOTO INDEPENDENT’s annual showcase will provide curators, galleries, collectors, editors, and arts enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the best photographic talent today, and acquire exciting new works.
