MASH Gallery Indulgence
Indulgence brings together a diverse group of artists whose works collectively interpret the concept of indulgence through various mediums, including sculptures, paintings, as well as mixed media creations. The artists delve into the complexities of human desires, inviting viewers to reflect on the multifaceted nature of indulgence in our contemporary society.
The theme of the exhibition delves into the nuances of indulgence. The artworks examine the cultural influences that shape society’s fascination with materialism. Indulgence is not a black-and-white concept; it is an ever-evolving exploration toquestion, to discover, and to simply enjoy whatever life has to offer. When do we reach a point of enoughness? Does it align with self-moderation and self-control?
Is indulgence a recognition and celebration of our multidimensional beings, wired to seek and experience excess without guilt?
The provocative work in “Indulgence” exhibition is a sensory exploration of every artist’s creation that communicates their version of what it is to be indulgent. A realm where pleasure and temptation intertwine.
About Mash Gallery
Founded in 2018 by expressionist painter Haleh Mashian, MASH Gallery is a contemporary art gallery originally located in the Arts District, Downtown LA. In 2022, the gallery moved to West Hollywood, in the center of the design district. MASH Gallery was founded by Haleh Mashian, a contemporary painter, curator, musician, and fashion designer. MASH Gallery focuses on thematic exhibitions and showcasing many local and international artists both emerging and established. She brings to life a compelling curatorial programming to the gallery that focuses on thematic exhibitions.
