If you have not had a chance to catch artist Kelly Reemtsen’s new show at Skidmore Contemporary Art, be sure to stop in. “Open Invitation” features Reemtsen’s pastels.

This past weekend, the gallery celebrated the opening for the new show as well as a book signing for Reemtsen’s new book I’m Falling.

It’s a great gift for Christmas….truly incredible images….

“The book was conceived by myself and my friend Chris Fogg (Fogg Associates),” explains Reemtsen. A beautifully designed book, I’m Falling is a collection of paintings, pastels, prints, and sculptures created over the past few years. If you have a strong woman in your life….she will LOVE this book!

The book also offers an inside peek into Reemtsen’s artistic journey through a series of candid interviews conducted over a two year period by Chris Fogg. I’m Falling celebrates the strength of the female spirit as well as the letting go or falling one must do while on the road to success.
