It is so nice to see that in-person Fourth of July Fireworks events are back for 2021. Not all the annual events have returned, but here are some confirmed ones.

The earliest event starts at 2pm. Pacific Palisades hosts its 73rd annual 4th of July Celebration. This year’s parade theme is “The Sparkle Returns.” As always, the parade kicks off on Sunset Boulevard, between Via de la Paz and Drummond. Then at 3pm, WWII fighter planes fly overhead. Enjoy the day, try a new restaurant, and stay for the fireworks at night at the Palisades Charter High School. You must purchase tickets ahead of time. The Rose Bowl Stadium host its 95th Annual AmericaFest Celebration in person this year on Sunday, July 4, 2021, following last year’s virtual event due to the rising pandemic. The theme of this year’s annual event is “Celebrating America’s Perseverance” as the Rose Bowl salutes American’s ability to come together and stand stronger throughout this pandemic. This year’s event will welcome all of Pasadena and beyond, back to events at America’s Stadium.

Lastly Marina del Rey will be offering its annual Fireworks, however Burton Chase Park will be CLOSED – yes you read that right. Only pre-registered people will be allowed in and they are now sold out. You can view the fireworks for FREE at the end of the Marina Peninsula, which runs parallel to the beach. But there is absolutely NO parking…you’ll see lots of people walking that way from 7-9pm Park East on Washington super early in the day and stay late – the Marina tends to get extremely crowded. Also many restaurants will be offering outdoor dining to view the show, but you MUST have a reservation. The fireworks will begin at 9pm and run for ten minutes.
