CicLAvia is back with its 67th car-free open streets event. This iteration is called CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods. Take a break from your car and walk, skate or bike with fellow Angelenos.
CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods connects WeHo, Hollywood and East Hollywood (via Santa Monica Blvd between San Vicente and Highland; Highland between Santa Monica Blvd and Hollywood Blvd; and Hollywood Blvd between Orange and Virgil/Hillhurst in East Hollywood). Presented by House of Art and Dreams, ROYVA Group, and also St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus, it transformed one of Los Angeles’ most historic hospital sites into a fully immersive, large-scale art experience. If you have yet to visit the Butterfly Pavilion at the Natural History Museum, do it soon as it is closing in August. My husband and I really enjoyed it when we visited. They literally come and sit on you – it’s quite a unique experience.
