Craft in America Center hosts an art talk in conjunction with Between the Lines on Saturday April 27, 2024, from 3:00-4:00pm. The opening art party was held on March 9, 2024. John Luebtow & Stephen Edwards

Meet acclaimed SoCal-based glass sculptors John Luebtow and Stephen Edwards an an art talk event. This important exhibition celebrates their evolution and ultimate influence on the field of contemporary glass sculpture. Additionally, the artists explore philosophical and spiritual concepts as conveyed through line expanded to form.

Craft in America

The Los Angeles-based nonprofit arts organization, Craft in America Center was founded in 2004. Its mission is to promote and advance original handcrafted work through programs in all media. The Peabody Award-winning, Emmy-nominated Craft in America documentary series first aired nationally on PBS in 2007. It has produced 29 hour-long episodes to date. These programs blend history with living practice by featuring artists, techniques, as well as stories from diverse cultures.
