The Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square in downtown LA is back for the holidays. Kicking off November 20, 2025, it will run through January 11, 2026. See our Thursday/Friday November 20-21, 2025 Art Parties & Events to find out more about the opening event from 5-7pm.

Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square

For over 25 years, the rink has delivered winter fun to sunny Los Angeles. Moreover, its 7,200-square-foot surface makes it the city’s largest outdoor rink. It offers professional-quality ice and welcomes more than 45,000 skaters each year. Additionally, over 221,000 spectators visit annually. The rink promotes community while encouraging winter fitness and play. This year’s beneficiary remains the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation & Parks. Sponsors include DTLA Alliance, Classical California, Metro, and Metrolink.

“Whether you are a Los Angeles resident or simply visiting for the holiday season, the Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square is an absolute must when it comes to embracing winter in Los Angeles,” says Willy Bietak, president of Los Angeles-based Willy Bietak Productions.

Upcoming Events

DJ Spotlight – Enjoy the music with some of LA’s hottest DJS. They spin everything from soul and funk to disco, new wave, modern pop, and nostalgic ’90s hits. Check website for exact dates, as DJs will spin on select Thursdays running from December 4, 2025 – January 8, 2026 from 7pm to close.

Classical Sundays – Elevate your ice skating experience with calming musical serenity. Classical California presents weekly sessions for attendees to bask in the sounds of these timeless classics. Classical Sundays takes place weekly Noon and 1:30pm.

The Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square is accessible by car, bus, Metro, or Metrolink. General admission with skate rental is $22. Locker rentals cost $5, and skate helpers cost $6. Tickets are available at the official website.
