Bloomingdale’s and Venice Family Clinic’s Sack Lunch Series will host a fall jewelry trend presentation and an exclusive trunk show with celebrity jewelry designer Melinda Maria at the Santa Monica store.

As a Sack Lunch Series featured speaker, Melinda will speak about balancing life, career, philanthropy and family. Bloomingdale’s will donate 10% of tracked storewide purchases from the event to Venice Family Clinic!

haleARTS holds an opening reception for a new exhibition featuring works by artists Cory Sewelson and Michele Troxell.

Sewelson and Troxell blur the lines of reality as they deliver their own takes on the natural world around us.

Working with oils, Sewelson (see image, right), paints surrealist landscapes that explore the thin walls that divide the “natural world” (of the earth) and “built world” (buildings, cities, institutions or ideas).

A self taught artist, Troxell, labors over stone to sculpt the animal kingdom through her eyes.

Front Porch Cinema presents the last film of The Santa Monica Pier’s film series. Revel in the nostalgia of Grandma’s front porch with vintage stylings, concessions and a Cinema Lounge.
