Enjoy a preview for the new play ” God’s Gypsy.” Writer/performer Coco Blignaut celebrates the life of Teresa of Avila with the new work. The show features the 16th century mystic who became one of the most controversial reformers of the Catholic Church.
Based on Barbara Mujica’s novel “Sister Teresa,” Blignaut worked with New York Times bestselling novelist, to develop the show at the Actors Studio.
Directed by Joel Daavid, the show features original music by Lili Haydn. Actors include: Coco Blignaut, Tsulan Cooper, Daniel DeWeldon, Edison Park, Abbe Rowlins, Carole Weyers, Jeanne Witczak. Produced by Mike Abramson for God’s Gypsy Productions.
