In Santa Monica…

haleARTS S P A C E hosts an opening reception for a group show featuring art 12″ by 12″.

The exhibition entitled “Twelve by 12” will showcase works of art that are priced at $250.

So be sure to pop in and pick up a great deal. What a fabulous way to start collecting art….

Participating artists include: Michael Hale, Ryan Held, Jeff Iorillo, Carl Lozada, Charles Swenson, Gian Luca Trevisan, Mary Worthington, Dave Zarick and Essi Zimm.

Wine and popcorn will be served.

Some wonderful artists will be included such as Charles Swenson, who’s been painting most of his life along with having a successful career as an animator on the popular children’s TV show “Rugrats.”

Lots going on in Venice tonight….

First Friday takes place tonight from 6 – 9 pm. Stores stay open a bit late and we have a couple confirmed parties for you….One at get Waxed, (that I am playing at) and one at Harlot Salon.   

Harlot Salon hosts a fun art party with champagne and treats, with a mystery graffiti artist. There will be a photo booth set up with his some of his work since a lot of it is interactive.

Prizes will be given away, …two gift bags as well as a table and bottle service at Nikkis bar in Venice.

Any client who pre-books an appointment that night will receive 20% off their first service with select stylists.  They do a great job, I recently stopped in for a cut…love it!!!
