haleArts Space in Santa Monica holds an opening reception for “Pulp.” – a group show, featuring artists Matt Lutz, Pam Holland (see image, below right), Melissa Dodd (see image, below left) and Michael Giliberti.
All shocks and horror, the pulp fictions of the former years is celebrated in the glamour of these artists works.
Acrylics and mixed mediums capture the lurid, the provocative and the adventurous. A great show for any fan of the Sensational.

Scott Detweiler New Orleans Jazz Funksemble performs an evening of “Blue Roasted Jazz” at the miles Memorial Playhouse as part of the “Fireside at the Miles” Series!
Performances take place beside the huge vintage fireplace with a cheery eco-log fire. Comfy couches, cozy candles, organic beverages and snacks all await you inside the historic playhouse.
