njoy free jazz at LACMA….Luther Hughes & Cannonball/Coltrane Project perform tonight at 6pm.
Initially formed as an homage to the 1959 landmark album, The Cannonball Adderley Quintet in Chicago, the Cannonball/Coltrane Project continues to pay tribute to its two namesake jazz giants with arrangements and original compositions related to or inspired by Cannonball and Coltrane.

At Dysonna City Art Gallery….it’s the 3rd Friday the month, and painting classes commence.
Once a month, a professional instructor will teach a painting class. A new subject is painted each month. No painting experience is required!
Wine and finger foods will be served during the night. Also comedian, Leslie Jones, will join in the fun.
