Cinema at the Edge (CATE) Film Festival takes place at Edgemar Center for the Arts.  The Independent Film Festival takes place for the next three days …. April 10 – 12, 2015

The officFINAL-Fri-Sun April10-12-CinemaontheEdgeial event kicked off yesterday. Enjoy three days of screenings and artist programs that celebrates independent filmmaking.

Films competing in narrative feature, documentary & short film categories will be eligible for Jury and Audience awards in which winners will have the opportunity to screen their film for industry professionals working in international film production & distribution.

Jury and audience awards will be given in each category. While the programmers are thrilled to give independent filmmakers a vehicle of expression, an additional commitment is to see that the standout titles at the festival have an opportunity to screen for distributors.

This will be her first show with the gallery. In this new body of work, Schmidhofer uses primarily a palette knife and her finger to create intricate compositions of semi-precious mineral formations and cultural debris.
