Thursday, Friday, February 5-6, 2026 features Art Parties & Events all over LA. They take place from the Westside to Silverlake, Downtown and Hollywood too. We have entertainment events galore, with walk-throughs and openings, theatre, as well as comedy. On Friday, don’t miss the opening art party for What A Wonderful World: An Audiovisual Poem. This is a month long immersive installation at the Variety Arts Theater.

In Westwood…Join Fowler Museum for an exhibition walk-through of Fire Kinship. The exhibition focuses on the important kinship ties that connect Indigenous communities to the land. Therefore it also spotlights the inextricable connection between ecological knowledge, spirituality, and also creative expression. Art Seen at Chuck Arnoldi’s Venice Studio Gallery presents Recurrence by architect-artist Leo Marmol. The solo show features Marmol’s oil-and-cold-wax paintings in the same neighborhood where he first lived and worked after moving to Los Angeles in the 1980s. This exhibition also marks a personal return: Marmol’s renewed artistic dialogue with friend Chuck Arnoldi, which deepened during the pandemic through their collaborative NADA Miami Lone Stars exhibition in 2020. Downtown

The Julia Stoschek Foundation presents What A Wonderful World: An Audiovisual Poem at the Variety Arts Theater from February 6 – March 20, 2026. Edited by Udo Kittelmann, the complex sensory journey takes attendees through the historic theater’s six stories. Each floor will reveal more immersive and cinematic visuals.

Additionally, the installation runs through March 20, 2026, and the Julia Stoschek Foundation will feature additional events as well. The events range from live performances and readings to screenings and also discussions. Artists include: Doug Aitken, Fiona Alison Duncan, Douglas Gordon, Arthur Jafa, Dean Kissick, NEW YORK, Bunny Rogers, Lexee Smith, Barbara T. Smith, Alicia Novella Vasquez, etc.
