February 2024 LAAA Exhibition

Whereabouts – An all-media exploration of “place” in Contemporary Art practice. “Place” is a recurring theme in contemporary art.

Artists respond to their current and past environments, and places suggest specific meanings or feelings for artists. This exhibition is an opportunity for emerging artists to visually reflect on the meaning and feeling of “place.” Whereabouts is juried by Erica Wall, Director of the Lunder Institute for American Art, Colby College Museum of Art.
