Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) debuted a massive group exhibition collaboration, Care Bears Forever on February 24, 2024 in the Main Gallery. In Gallery 2, the Care Bears Forever Pop-up Shop as well as Friends Forever: The Beary Besties Gallery in Gallery 3. The full-gallery takeover will remain on view through March 30, 2024.

Care Bears Forever

The show is presented in partnership with Cloudco Entertainment, parent company of the iconic Care Bears brand.  The event will feature new artwork inspired by the beloved, classic Care Bears characters, from over 75 international contemporary artists.

Care Bears Forever History

Introduced in 1982, the Care Bears brand became one of the most well liked, and endearing children’s properties in the world. It began with consumer products, and greeting cards. Then a series of animated television shows as well as feature films further enhanced its popularity.

Additionally, the Care Bears brand has been a source of goodwill and unwavering positivity for generations. Central to their enduring charm are the iconic belly badges, each representing a message of love and caring that continues to resonate with fans worldwide. Furthermore, a new generation of artists, inspired by over 40 years of memories, have re-interpreted the iconic characters in their own aesthetic through a wide variety of mediums.

Kucharik

The American children’s illustrator is known for her expansive range of watercolor paintings used across the entire line of Care Bears. She became the primary artist for the Care Bears in the early ‘80s. The artist has created hundreds of full color illustrations for cards, books, as well as various licensed products.
