In Santa Monica…at Bergamot Station, Spatial Divide, opens at Speedy Gallery. A bi-coastal dialogue and gallery exchange takes place between New York City’s C24 Gallery and Speedy Gallery at Bergamot.
Therefore Speedy Gallery artists Sean Crim, Tae Hue, and Kei Sugiyama will exhibit work at C24 Gallery in NYC. Then C24 Gallery artist Cheryl Molnar will be featured in a solo exhibition at Speedy Gallery. Miracle Mile
Sprüth Magers presents an art talk with Martine Syms; Johanna Burton, director, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and Solveig Nelson, writer and curator of photography and new media, Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College. The conversation will center around The Perversion of the Visual, Gretchen Bender’s current exhibition at Sprüth Magers, Los Angeles, which is currently on view through August 10. Additionally, each participant has engaged with Bender’s work in their past projects and will also discuss her legacy in the twenty-first century.

Tonight HFP LIVE presents the world premiere of pianist/actor/playwright/producer Hershey Felder and Jonathan Silvestri in Rachmaninoff And The Tsar at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica. This is the first time another actor will join Felder on stage in one of his productions. The new musical play has a limited run from August 7-25, 2024.
