Matter Studio Gallery presents Hibiscus TV with Kaye Freeman, and Amy Kaps performing Water. I happen to love the work of Amy Kaps. I have known her for quite some time, and she is a true original.

Hibiscus Tv, Kaye Freeman, Amy Kaps
Here is a quote from the owner of the gallery, Karla Funderburk – “In this exhibition, Origins of Matter invites us to consider not only the physical world we have created, but the invisible beliefs from which it emerged. HIBISCUS TV doesn’t expose secrets; they make the familiar impossible to ignore. The collaborative practice of Amy Kaps and Kaye Freeman, known as HIBISCUS TV, unfolds at the intersection of performance, painting, sculpture, film, photography, and installation. Their work occupies a place where humor becomes philosophy and absurdity becomes revelation. Here, laughter is never an escape from reality—it is the doorway through which reality becomes visible.”
It runs through September 13, 2026; Art Party: 4-8pm; Matter Studio Gallery, 5080 West Pico Blvd. LA, 90019; https://matterstudiogallery.com/
