DeKor Gallery’s grand opening in San Pedro last month was a huge success. This month’s exhibition proves to be another exciting venture. Opening on April 5, 2018, during the 1st Thursday ArtWalk “TRANSITIONS” features 7 Korean artists. The group exhibition reveals the changes and shifts around us all – exposing a glimpse of the eternal within the ephemeral: explorations in a search for that which speaks to our longing for goodness, beauty and truth. This distinguished group of artists will exhibit a wide range of media including acrylic, oil, mixed media on canvas. Artists include: Jessica Jang, Meejung Lee, Esther Shim, Shoo Im Kim, Eyelyn Kim, Sang Eui Kim, Steve Y. Lee.

Founding and running a galleries takes great passion. For Laureen Vivian,co-founder of the Michaili Lombardo Gallery NYC  and now having launched DeKor Gallery, art is in her veins. With over twenty five years as an architect/designer/art antiques collector and gallerist Ms. Vivian brings a rich and deep understanding to all her endeavors. DeKor Gallery continues thia journey with meaningful cohesive curated art exhibitions. “With the rich and ancient Korea on all of our minds this show ‘TRANSITIONS’ speaks to us of the supreme beauty in goodness as it reveals to us truth.”

The public is invited to two events at DeKor Gallery. The first event is on Thursday, April 5th and takes place in conjuncition with the 1st Thursday Artwalk, San Pedro 5-9 pm is opening night.
