Online…Craft in America hosts an online Cowboy Art Talk #2 with Beau Compton, Scott Hardy, and Leland Hensley. While the first two participants are silversmiths, the latter, Hensley is a rawhide braider. The group will chat about the history of these arts as well as its evolution. The conversation takes place in conjunction with its current exhibition. Dine LA kicks off its Restaurant Week today August 14 and it runs through August 28! Yeah I realize that’s two weeks, however, I am not responsible for its name. It is great way to try new restaurants. This season, over 400 restaurants are participating, including 35 new participants, and the list is growing. Additionally, the restaurants offer special prices for lunch and dinner menus. It is well worth it as some start as low as $15.
