Thursday, Friday, November 20-21 2025 Art Parties & Events include holiday festivities. This is going to be a very busy weekend. So don’t miss it kids. WestEdge Design Fair kicks off Thursday evening, and continues through Saturday. The Holiday Ice Rink in Pershing Square celebrates the season early, and then on Friday, Hermosa Beach begins their weekend holiday celebration. Of course we have art events at KCCLA, NOON Projects, Wönzimer Gallery as well as Hive Gallery across Thursday and Friday.

In Santa Monica…WestEdge Design Fair is back with its annual design show. The opening event takes place tonight and it is always fabulous. The show runs through Saturday. The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA, Director Haedon Lee) & Korean-American Calligraphy Association (KACA, President Theresa Hwang) present The 34th Annual Exhibition of Korean-American Calligraphy Association.
The exhibition spotlights traditional and contemporary calligraphic art. In addition to featuring works by 34 member artists, it also welcomes guest artists Soheon Jeong, Do-Joon, Simseok Kim, Byeong-Gi, Mookjae Kwon, and Myoung-Won. It’s that time of year again. Head to the opening of The Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square! Celebrate the holiday season in the heart of Downtown LA.

The event will features performances, holiday treats, as well as the first skate of the season. So get out there. On-Ice entertainment presents a show-stopping hula hoop skate, along with choreography from LA Ice Theater, and jaw-dropping tricks from extreme ramp skaters.
Event: 5-7pm; The Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square, 532 South Olive Street, this landmark destination is easily accessible by car, bus, Metro (Pershing Square stop) or Metrolink. Hauser & Wirth Downtown Los Angeles presents the opening activation of CRADLED. This immersive exhibition is curated by artist Suzanne Bocanegra and actor/producer Frances McDormand in collaboration with Shaker Museum (Chatham, NY). CRADLED expands on the original 2024 staging at Shaker Museum in upstate New York. It spotlights the Shakers’ embrace of caregiving and community from cradle to grave.
The exhibition invites viewers to step into a vision of life shaped by the Shaker ethos of devotion made manifest in communal industry and care. Shaker Lemon Pie will be served in the Garden in collaboration with Manuela LA from 6-7pm. *Pies will also be available for purchase and featured on the restaurant’s menu during the run of the exhibition. Then from 7-9pm Rocking of eldresses with Nancy Buchanan, Barbara T. Smith, Suzanne Bocanegra and Frances McDormand will take place.

An Inspector Calls, written by J.B. Priestley classic mystery continues its run at Theatre 40. The classic mystery directed by Cate Caplin is produced for Theatre 40 by David Hunt Stafford. A young woman meets with an untimely demise and a respectable family is subject to a routine inquiry in connection with the death. The theatre is located on the campus of Beverly Hills High School. Hermosa for the Holidays kicks off tonight – Friday, and runs through the weekend. Sunday there will be a tree lighting. Also both Saturday and Sunday will feature live music.
