Matter Studio Gallery hosts an art talk with Eva Montealegre. The conversation takes place in conjunction with her solo exhibition titled DEEP MATTER. The artist will be presenting several works from her Deep series of paintings.

Yesterday, the Verdi Chorus debuted its Fall 2024 Concert We Are Verdi Bizet at the First Presbyterian Church. The chorus is led by Anne Marie Ketchum, who is celebrating forty-one consecutive years as Artistic Director of the organization. The program will feature selections from three Verdi operas – I Lombardi, Don Carlo and Rigoletto and Bizet’s Carmen and The Pearl Fishers. Also in Santa Monica…Cirque du Soleil is back at the Santa Monica Pier. The acclaimed show KOOZA kicks off tonight and runs through December 1, 2024.
