Halloween is here, so our staff has voted on the best 2025 LA Halloween Events for you. The list includes all kinds of events for you from Haunted Hayride, Nights of Jack as well as spooky screenings that run all through the month. Be aware you may find additional Halloween inspired events on the actual day that they are happening. Below is a list of Halloween events that run for at least two weeks or more. Of course we had to add the West Hollywood Carnaval – although it is ONLY one day, its is so much fun!!!

Halloween Inspired Movies
Get into the spirit of Halloween with scary movies with all of these LA venues throughout the month of October. Calabasas
Nights at the Jack will lead you on a twinkling mile-long journey withe everything the season has to offer. Partake in treats from top food trucks, and sip festive drinks at the Spookeasy bar. The trail is lit-up by thousands of glowing, hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns, great for photo ops. There is also a Day of the Dead spotlight.
Nights of the Jack runs through November 1st on select days. The venue is scheduled to be closed on October 20, 2025. Confirm and book time slots on the website. La Cañada Flintridge
Descanso Gardens presents its annual Halloween bash – Carved. New ghosts have joined the family of wood spirits carved from five enormous logs by Chainsaw Jenna. The park will be lit up with Illuminated jack-o’-lanterns, hand-carved giant pumpkins as well as the the “Rhizome” installation by Tom and Lien Dekyvere. Running through October 30, 2025;

West Hollywood’s Halloween Carnaval is happening on the day – October 31, 2025. The City of West Hollywood once again hosts the most exciting event of the year – the Halloween Carnaval 2024! The City’s incomparable Halloween Carnaval is one of the most unique Halloween gatherings in the world.
The free event runs along a one-mile stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard between N. Doheny Drive and N. La Cienega Boulevard.
