Supporting the Arts Since 2010

The 2024 SPRING/BREAK Art Show is back for its fifth Los Angeles edition, from February 27 – March 3, 2024 during Frieze Week LA. The annual art fair will return to its venue at 5880 Adams Blvd in Culver City. SPRING/BREAK Art Show is a curator-driven art fair that takes place in NYC as well as Los Angeles.

2024 SPRING/BREAK Art Show

This year’s art fair will feature over 60 immersive and also cross-disciplinary exhibitions. The theme for 2024 incorporates both spatial context of art exhibition and also subject matter. The producers of SPRING/BREAK Art Show asked curators to consider all things architectural, spacial, natural, landscape, still life, and en plein air. With a nod towards works also that transcend the tactile to include Dream, incorporating, from outer to inner, the surrealist and spiritualist amidst trappings of the outside world.

New in 2024

In September, the SPRING/BREAK producers launched a new initiative in NYC called ‘Artist Spotlight’ section. This allows artists to submit directly for a position within a salon show. The exhibition is curated by fair-founders Ambre Kelly & Andrew Gori. For Los Angeles, the pair hand-selected 50+ projects from emerging artists. It includes Cate Pasquerelli, Kay Seohyung Lee, as well as Nathaniel Meyer.

The 2024 SPRING/BREAK Art Show is set to be held once again in Culver City’s arts district. It is back at the same venue it was held for the last three years.  The expansive, 30,000 square foot warehouse was originally built in 1940 and served as a factory site. SPRING/BREAK is excited to continue its partnership with visionary developer Redcar to source historic, underused, and exhibition-atypical locales articulating Los Angeles history in order to feature groundbreaking exhibitions from both coasts.
