In Westchester…

The Country Legends perform at the Melody Bar and Grill for our monthly 2nd Wednesday gig. In case you don’t know by now, in addition to being a writer, I perform in several bands too. Enjoy memorable melodies by Country super stars such as Johnny Cash and June Carter as well as Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline and many more.

Greg Cruz runs this band…and he rocks it. He sings lead vocals with me….you’re gonna love the duets. The Country Legends also features Petr Hromadko on stand up bass and Mitch Montrose on drums.

Get there before 7:00 pm and cash in on their fabulous happy hour….offering both delicious food and Drink specials too.

Melody Bar and Grill is located between W 92nd St and Westchester Pky…If you are coming from the Westside, be sure to keep your eyes open and make a left turn before you see the In and Out Burger (on right)…if you miss it pull over and park, since you will end up past LAX, since you CAN’T turn left, due to a medium that divides the traffic on Sepeluveda.

The Gallery at EarthWE will host a reception for artist John Coulter. “The New Mythology” continues his exploration of the affinity between Tribal (Primitive) Art and Modern Art.

The New Mythology further expands Coulter’s interpretations of human and totemistic figures. Depicted with charcoal pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolor, Coulter’s 35 drawings and paintings are a fusion of atavistic forms and present-day icons, grounded in the Modern Primitivism style.
