As part of the exhibition “Social Fabric,” the Craft and Folk Art Museum celebrates the International Workers Day which is today, May 1, btw!

“Social Fabric” artist Frau Fiber invites the public to use the Bicycle-Powered Sewing Factory in front of CAFAM.

The artist will mend clothing using a bicycle-powered sewing machine. Passers-by will be encouraged to hop onto the bicycle to provide power for her sewing machine. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own clothing that needs repair.

It the final Wednesday night Jazz Jam Session! The Wedesday night weekly Jam was created by Cathy Segal-Garcia and has had many homes throughout its twelve year history.

Tonight’s final jam will be hosted by Cathy Segal-Garcia offers FREE entertainment featuring many singers and instrumentalists of jazz.

You can bet that it will be a good one with many of the old timers popping in to say farewell.
