CandyCane1Today, enjoy live music from “String Planet” (see photo), as part of the Pershing Square Downtown On Ice Lunchtime Concert series which include a variety of fun family friendly music. AlsoStringTheory today take advantage of the Farmers Market which comes to Pershing Square every Wednesday. The market offers a variety of fruits, vegetables arts, crafts and fun seasonal gifts. The Farmer’s Market is located in the Fountain Area of the venue just a few steps south of the skating rink.

 

Tonight at 18th St Arts, visiting Artist Kristian Skylstad opens up his studio (building 1629, studio #3) for a show he is curating entitled, Calma Maria Magdalena. The exhibition is a constellation of artists from different segments of the art world in Norway. What the artists have in common is that they don’t have much in common with other artists.
