joy a down home country and holiday music event with the Country Legends. Yes, If you know me, you’re probably wondering how I’m going to do two gigs tonight….Well, I’ll start at the Melody Bar…at our monthly 2nd Wednesday gig. Then leaving at 9pm to head to the Off Their Jingle Bell Rocker gig….but the Legends will continue on….till 10 pm.
We’ll be performing our usualy tribute to country icons such as Johnny Cash, June Carter, etc….plus some some festive Christmas blues tunes and some classic country.
The incredible Greg Cruz will be singing lead vocals with me as he rocks out on guitar. The Country Legends also features Petr Hromadko on stand up bass and Mitch Montrose on drums.
Show starts at 7:00 pm and runs till 10:00 pm. Get there before 7:00 pm and cash in on their fabulous happy hour….offering both delicious food and Drink specials too.

If you are coming from the Westside, be sure to keep your eyes open and make a left turn before you see the In and Out Burger (on right)…if you miss it pull over and park, since you will end up past LAX, since you CAN’T turn left, due to a medium that divides the traffic on Sepeluveda.

The Off their Jingle Bell Rockers are back, ready to rock for the holidays. The Rockers have performed together for over ten years and have been a crowd pleaser for popular events such as the Montana Ave Holiday Walk and the Main Street Holiday Extravaganza.

The Off their Jingle Bell Rockers are not your typical holiday group. Yes they happen to be terrific singers, but they also dress incredibly flamboyant, and have an amazing amount of energy, which makes for a truly fun and lively show. They add a different slant to Christmas Caroling. Their offbeat harmonies and original arrangements bring a zany twist to the classic Christmas Carol.

“Aladdin and His Winter Wish” (Panto at the Playhous production) opens at The Pasadena Playhouse tonight. The family friendly show stars Ashley Argota as “The Princess” (Nickelodeon’s True Jackson VP), Jordan Fisher as “Aladdin” (Disney’s Teen Beach Movie), Richard Karn as “The Sultan” (“Home Improvement”), Bruce Vilanch as “Widow Twankey” (Edna in Broadway and Los Angeles Hairspray), and Ben Vereen (Broadway’s Pippin and Jesus Christ Superstar) as “The Genie.”
