As you may know, LA Art Party usually features just Friday – Sunday Events. Here are a couple of local Venice events I wanted to point out.
LA Art Party is a media sponsor for the Venice Chamber of Commerce. On Wednesday 27, 2015, stop by the Boys a
nd Girls Club of Venice to mix and mingle with Venice Business owners and residents at the 4th Annual Local Business Expo Chamber.
Over 50 local businesses will be showcasing their products and services along with delicious food tasting provided by Cantalini’s Salerno Beach Restaurant, Primitivo Wine Bistro, Venice Whaler, Wurstkuche and Whole Foods Market/Venice.
The Expo is open to the public – admission is $5.00 at the door and valet parking will be available.

L.A. Louver debuts “Warriors, Ghosts and Ancient Gods of the Pacific,” a solo exhibition of thirteen new paintings by Los Angeles-based artist Gajin Fujita, created over the past 4 years.

This is the artist’s fifth show with L.A. Louver. Recognized for his painting style that merges traditional Japanese iconography with Los Angeles street culture and American pop references, Fujita’s recent works display refinements of technical skill and subject matter.
On the second floor, enjoy the sculpture of Tony Cragg, Joel Shapiro, Richard Deacon, Peter Shelton, Sui Jianguo, and Matt Wedel.
