I’ll be performing with my blues band, Kat and the Blues Hounds from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 am at the Melody Bar and Grill in Westchester! The Show is FREE!

We will be doing some blues and we may even slip some country in too…since we’ve got Greg with us. He does an amazing Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and more.

Also sax player Lucky Wright will be joing us once again as well as drummer Rick Bryan and John Wiemken on bass.

We will be playing for 3 hours starting at 7:00 pm on the dot. Get there early for HAPPY HOUR. It ends at 7:00 pm….it’s the BEST!!!

Melody Bar and Grill is located between W 92nd St and Westchester Pky….If you are coming from the Westside, be sure to keep your eyes open and make a left turn before you see the In and Out Burger (on right)…if you miss it pull over and park, since you will end up past LAX, since you CAN’T turn left, due to a medium that divides the traffic on Sepeluveda.

Occasioned by the publication of Tours new book I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became An Icon, a deep look at Prince’s music and life. Its ‘not a biography, its a deconstruction and appreciation of the artist bolstered by a candid interview with Prince in 1998 and interviews with many of Prince’s band members and girlfriends as well as musicologists, and even Bible scholars.

The Clive Davis Theater features “Tours,” an MSNBC host and a longtime music journalist, talks with Prince insiders: Susannah Melvoin, a member of Prince’s band the Revolution for several years, Alan Leeds, Prince’s tour manager for over ten years; and LA Reid, the chairman and CEO of Epic Records.
