TSat-May7-VGHT-HorizonHouse3his Saturday, Saturday, May 7, 2016 the Venice Garden & Home Tour will feature examples of the late Steven Shortridge’s stunning architecture, including a surprise Venice highlight and culminating with an evening celebration at his last project on the Marina Del Rey Peninsula.

This 22nd annual fundraising event gives financial support to the Neighborhood Youth Association (NYA) that provides after school programs for children and youth from low-income families at six locations throughout Los Angeles, giving students individualized academic support and comprehensive life skills development in a sustained and focused manner over the critical years of their lives.

The celebration party, honoring the work of Venice architect Steven Shortridge, will be hosted by Supercharged Foundation founders Kwanza Jones and José Feliciano at Horizon House, an inspiring property on the Marina Del Rey ocean beachfront. The site for this spectacular house features picturesque southwest facing views of the ocean. Special attention was taken to maximize the view from all the rooms in the house.
