Mark de Paola Studio is proud to announce de Paola’s upcoming solo exhibition, “60 Seconds,” at the Leica Gallery Los Angeles this summer June 16th through July 18th. Join us Thursday, June 16th for the opening reception to view the poetic and painterly 40 by 60 inch prints and go on a journey through the series curated by Leica Gallery Los Angeles Gallery Director, Paris Chong.

“60 Seconds” delves into a realm of abstract figures, fluidity, and poetic forms, challenging and seducing the limits of motion contained within still image. With each photograph taken handheld with a 60 second exposure, Mark has discovered the connection between his physiological make up, the Leica camera as a tool, and time, the unflinching competitor to the timeless image.
