Duncan Miller is putting on a Winter “Ski Lodge Chic” party tonight from 7:00 pm till 10:00 pm.  The event will be hosted by Alessandra Alores (Miss Germany 2009..see image),,,ooh la la! 

Now this is open to the public…HOWEVER, you must wear a ski hat or scarf to get in (no prob for me…I’m from NYC). Be creative, as the best ski-related hat/outfit will win a $100 gift certificate from Doc’s Ski Haus in Santa Monica.

Don’t forget tonight is the Downtown Art Walk….which has evolved into a full night of partying. Art, music, food trucks….get there early to search for parking or just park at the Medallion….but be sure to find out when they close and plan accordingly. If you have never been to the Downtown Art Walk, which happens every 2nd Thursday. Where have you been?…..gotta get down there and check it out.

Let’s start with the exhibition, “Unfuckwithable”…no I am not making this up. “Unfuckwithable” feature artists Rafael Dante, Linda Rodriguez, Brandon Blain Schwebs, Bryson Whiteman.

“Unfuckwithable”….ok I just love saying it….or writing it as the case may be…will be held at The Medallion, located at 334 S. Main St. 90021. Curated John Lucero the event will run from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm.  You may want to park at this venue then prowl the streets.

LACDA (Los Angeles Center for Digital Art) always puts on a fun art party…tonight’s event will feature artists, Andrew Lee, Bridgitte Klappert, Campbell Laird, Fred Kaplan, Kathryn Jacobi, Leslie Rosenthal, and more. LACDA, 107 West 5th St.,90013, 7-9pm.

Then in the surrounding area be sure to stop into Norbertellen Gallery. This tiny gallery will be having live painting with artist, Erik Jerumanis. Other works will also be on display from artists Samuel Dana Pottish, Jung Yoon Park, Nagy Kornel, and Uriel Marin.

Now if you are up to a walk, or perhaps, just move your car, there are several other galleries in this area, near the Blackstone Bldg Lobby, now turned into a gallery, so be sure to check the site….Here you’ll find Nicole Murphy, (Eddie Murphy’s ex) who hosts Art, Libations & Sounds, an Exhibition From One of LAs Top Emerging Visual Artist, Maxwell Dickson. The event runs from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Blackstone Gallery, 901 South Broadway.

Dicksons exhibition will start with a private VIP reception from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm & then open to the public from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tap 21 Room Craft beer, Charles Smith Wines and Dama Tequila will be the evenings spirit sponsors, and special guest celebrity DJ will be curating the sounds for the evenings festivities.
