There are some fabulous music events tonight. It’s your last chance to pop by the Hammer Museum to enjoy KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez who will spin sets in the museum’s outdoor courtyard. Also featured tonight is East LA’s Chicano Batman. The quartet’s globetrotting sound includes soul, 70’s Brazilian Bossa Nova, spacey psychedelia and surf rock cumbia.

KCRW DJs wMadeinLA Logoill select sets inspired by the idea of the “Made in L.A.”, an exhibit featuring emerging and under-recognized LA artists. Doors open at 7PM and admission to Made in L.A. 2012 is free! The museum will be open late.

OnThurs-8.9-Twilight Concert Seriese more music evnt that looks great takes place on the Santa Monica Pier…..The PARADE Collective will be a showcase of original music and arrangements written and performed by musicians and singers from Cirque du Soleil.

The term “PARADE” is a French acronym for Programme d’aide aux réalisations artistiques des employés, which literally translated means, a program to aid in the artistic realizations of the employees.
