At Bergamot Station, Santa Monica Museum of Art (SMMoA) hosts a hybrid musical-lecture with Mexican DJ/producer Toy Selectah, and cultural polymath Josh Kun.
This event pays tribute to the work of sonideros – mobile Mexican DJs – who crossfade, mix, and amplify the views and voices of Latino immigrants. Listen as Toy Selectah mixes this musical performance to the stories of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network as well as members of the audience who are invited to deliver messages.
