In West LA…

This is a one day pop up show featuring artists Anna Reid-Taylor, Candace Kimball, Dominique Louis, Ena Dubnoff, Jean Cherie, and Karin Swildens.

Anna Reid-Taylor: (watercolor and oil) is feeling much better and started to paint again; she will show her new works and a few of her best beloved “old” ones.
Candace Kimball: (quilts) has selected an angelic progression for us.
Dominique Louis: (photography) is bringing works rom the collection he was recently invited to exhibit at Disney.  
Ena Dubnoff: (wood turner) will focus on her art necklaces, for the first time.
Jean Cherie: (sculpture) will surprise us with her newest.
Karin Swildens: (sculpture) has finally agreed to show, along her newest sculptures, the scarfs she designed for Mr. Hermes himself in Paris!

In West LA…

JAUS hosts a closing reception for the two-person exhibition “Erin Dunn and Michael Pierzynski: Down the Rabbit Hole” curated by Carl Berg. The idiosyncratic works by Brooklyn based artist Erin Dunn and Los Angeles based artist Michael Pierzynski will be on view by appointment from July 22 to September 4.

Dunn and Pierzynski are best known for their obscure narratives and will feature new work for the exhibition. Both artists work in a variety of media including sculpture, video, painting, printmaking and drawing.

The show is curated by LA-based artist and curator Carl Berg who has worked with both artists on a variety of projects including both solo and group exhibitions in Los Angeles and Europe.
