The City of Beverly Hills will hold its fall BH artSHOW on Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Beverly Gardens Park, along four blocks of Santa Monica Boulevard, from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive.
The Beverly Hills artSHOW, now in its 44th year, is a free event and brings art enthusiasts together from all over Southern California and beyond. Artists come from Los Angeles, the Southwest, and the rest of the United States to showcase and sell their work in the heart of Beverly Hills.
A special show feature will highlight artists whose work illustrates the subject of Construction. Painters, printmakers, and other featured renderers include notable artists, many new to the show.
In addition to great art, guests can enjoy live entertainment, children and family art projects, popular food fare and food trucks, a wine and dine garden, and a beer and brat garden at this free, fun event. Convenient, inexpensive parking is located directly across from the show grounds.

At Hauser Wirth & Schimmel, enjoy a walkthrough of its current exhibition, ‘Schwitters, Miró Arp’ with the curator, and art historian Dr Dieter Buchhart.
Buchhart has organized seminal exhibitions on major figures such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Georges Braque, Otto Dix, Keith Haring, Edvard Munch and Andy Warhol in renowned museums such as Albertina, Vienna, Austria; Fondation Beyeler, Basel, Switzerland; Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain; Musée d’Art Moderne, Paris, France and De Young Museum, San Francisco CA.
This extensive exhibition is dedicated to the re-evaluation and rediscovery of three fascinating personalities from art history who instigated a material language that continues to inform contemporary art today. Comprising over 90 key works from American and European museums as well as international private collections, the show offers new perspectives on Schwitters, Miró and Arp, as well as a deeper insight into Dada and Surrealism.

The Annenberg Community Beach House presents the region’s first underwater art exhibit in its historic public pool, featuring artwork curated by Machine Project, the Echo Park-based art organization. Snorkel Dreams is a public art project presented by the Beach=Culture series, a program of the City of Santa Monica. Presented underwater in the historic (heated) pool, the exhibit literally immerses viewers in art.
On display are paintings, sculptures, ceramics, video, prints and paintings by Andrew Cannon, Jessica Cowley, Bob Dornberger, Emily Joyce, Alice Könitz, Candice Lin, Becca Lofchie, Johnston Marklee, Jennifer Moon & Laub, Paul Pescador, Jennifer Rochlin, Suné Woods, Kim Ye, Patricia Yossen, Mallen&Gray and Machine Project with Grace Eunchong. Best views for gallery visitors will be in the water, but nonswimmers can partially view the submerged artworks from poolside. Some timeslots may be at capacity but waitlists are open and all are welcome; openings are expected after an initial rush at each entry time.
