a Luz De Jesus Gallery offers an art talk with Ave Rose. “Bestiary of the Automata” opened earlier this month. Rose will be appearing in person to discuss her work today
The show runs concurrently with the 3rd Biennial Taxidermy Show, and also highlights recycled materials–both organic and mechanical.
Because most of her pieces are motion works, she really does breath new life into the inanimate.
