No kidding they have closed all the surrounding streets off of Winward Circle and they have some huge rides…I’m talking big…(I was expecting a bouncy house). 

Oh yeah, it’s gonna be a wild finale…so get out there and enjoy the final day of both events.

Performers include Jenny Eloise Rieu aka ‘The Lady in Red,’ Momo Casablanca, Yesteryears Dancers, and more.

ARTScorpsLA/ACLA Emerging Producers presents Beat the Drum’s second annual drum festival, Beat the Drum: East Los Meets West Los, at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood.

Come early for picnicking, at 6:00 pm and enjoy drum technique demonstrations from South Mexican and Central American traditions, live screen printing and painting, and dancing by the Capoeira Collective in the Ford Theatre Plaza. All ages are welcome.

Also performing at the festival are DJ Reyes Rodriguez (world music) and Emcee Mayda Del Valle (Poetry Slam Champion).
