Today at 4:30 pm…the Venice Canals will host their Holiday Boat parade….it gets really crowed…so head over their early. You can see it at any Canal…as the boats come through each one.

Or…The City of West Hollywood presents a Hanukkah Music Festival featuring the Kol Sephardic Choir and Flamenco Dancers.

Their repertoire consists of Sephardic Romanceros sung in Ladino and liturgical/religious songs in Hebrew with Sephardic melodies.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted. With a $20 donation, guests will receive a CD.

Head downtown and enjoy LOS ANGELES MASTER CHORALE, conducted by Music Director Grant Gershon (see photo) at Walt Disney Concert Hall. REJOICE! The second of four seasonal programs, helralds the holidays with three Baroque Masterpieces featuring Bach’s Magnificat and Vivaldi’s Gloria.

Gloria Soloists are Sopranos Deborah Mayhan and Ayana Haviv and Mezzo Soprano Janelle DeStefano. Magnificat Soloists are Sopranos Risa Larson and Harriet Fraser, mezzo Soprano Nike St. Clair, Tenor Brandon Hynum and Baritone Steve Pence.

Tickets range from $29 – $134. Group rates are available. Tickets cannot be purchased at the Walt Disney Concert Hall Box Office except on concert days starting 2 hours prior to the performance.
