Regen Projects presents Altanera, Preciosa y Orgullosa by Aliza Nisenbaum, and also magnetic instinct by Liz Larner. This is New York-based artist Aliza Nisenbaum’s first exhibition with the gallery. While this is artist Liz Larner’s ninth solo exhibition with the gallery.
Moreover, Larner’s magnetic instinct is an official collaboration with The Getty’s PST ART: Art and Science Collide. Hauser & Wirth presents a new exhibition titled L.A. Story. The group show is inspired by the 1991 romantic comedy in which Steve Martin’s character searches for meaning in a city famously clichéd as a cultural vacuum. Referencing specific scenes from the film and enduring tropes of Los Angeles, the exhibition will feature artworks by iconic and contemporary Los Angeles artists. ‘L.A. Story’ is realized in dialogue with Steve Martin.
