On the fourth and last Venice Art Crawl of the year, a special 2-day event (September 15th and 16th, 2016), will take place at the Windward Plaza in Venice Beach, right next to the Skate Park and between the Ocean Front Walk at Windward Avenue and the beach.

The #VeniceAfterburn, is a fun post-playa experience open to all burners and non burners, blending the burner art with the vibrant Venice Beach artist community. The #VeniceAfterburn offers a place to decompress from the playa. For 2 days the Windward Plaza will transform into a surreal art environment mixed with the Venice Beach magic.Enjoy this 2 day post-burn gathering with art cars, large scale installations, sculptures, live painting and light shows; art, most of which is just getting back from Black Rock City. The Afterburn will also feature a full music schedule, with a lineup of hip DJs: Jason Bentley, Marques Wyatt, Jeremy Sole, divaDanielle, Loboman, Henry Pope, 2tight, massio, Erik Nelson, MC Everyman + Michael Vincze, Naira Hart, Ferdie Torres and more surprises and secret guests! Every participant is invited to wear the -still dusty – playa wear and to LEAVE NO TRACE (no trash left behind).No overnight camping and no alcohol allowed. The #VeniceAfterburn is FREE of charge, family friendly, and will take place Thursday September 15th 12pm-10pm and Friday September 15th 2pm-10pm.

Then on September 15 only, The Gallery At Marco Place, 928 Marco Place, will feature artist Harold Cleworth known as the “Painter Laureate of the car.” The gallery will be unveiling Harold’s masterpiece, a large painting of Clifton’s Cafeteria, the iconic historic restaurant in downtown Los Angeles.  Poet extrodinaire James Berkowitz is featuring ARTravenous: celebration of life, art, poetry, music, comedy, and dance, at Danny’s Venice, 23 Windward Avenue.

Other September 15 events: for those seeking a more intimate, quieter experience, just five minutes north from the Skate Park on Ocean Front Walk to the Venice Breeze Suites, 2 Breeze Ave, can experience the MicroTheater; a unique stage experience. Live short performances for small audiences in non conventional spaces. The Masseur by Jose Perez will be featured. The Venice Breeze Suites will host the first MicroTheater experience in Los Angeles FREE 6:30-10PM. MicroTheater is a new concept in theater that has been successfully presented in Miami, Mexico and Madrid.

Venice Media District Mixer and Awards Mixer, will be presenting awards for founders of the Venice Media District and film winners from the Marina del Rey Film Festival on the roof of the Venice Beach Suites at 1305 Ocean Front Walk, 6:30-8PM. Winners of the film festival: Stanley Isaacs, Anne Spielberg and Kevin Maxwell. Featured Venice Art Crawl artists Kerma Boyum-Sarmiento and Sandie West. Artist Fred Ceballos is curating La Fiesta del Sol: Affordable art, live painting and live music at Hama Sushi, 213 Windward Avenue and at the Hama Sushi parking lot located at 1500 Main Street.The Bank of Venice is the official Uber pick up and drop off place, located at 80 Windward Ave.
