We all know the “cone of shame” jokes. But More Than A Cone, a nonprofit raising funds for and awareness about animal adoption, wellness and recovery, aims to shine a more flattering light on this “medical lampshade” — and benefit the animals at Best Friends and other animal welfare organizations in the process!

More Than A Cone enlists some of today’s leading artists to transform the ‘cone of shame’ into works of art for auction. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for animals in need, elevating the cone to an iconic symbol of animal welfare.

The group enlisted leading artists to transform e-collars into works of art for auction during its 2015 art festival. The second annual event will be a fun-filled, fundraising night featuring live music and entertainment, a cone-art exhibition, a cone-fashion runway show, carnival games and more.
