The Juneteenth Celebration takes place today in Santa Monica. Now you may ask….What the heck is Juneteenth?
Well it’s is a day of live entertainment, delicious food, cultural arts and craft vendors and activities for adults and youth to celebrate the news of the Emancipation Proclamation among slaves in Texas in June 1865.
