Continue the party this weekend, while getting into the spirit of the season…Bring the kids…Santa Claus is coming to the Santa Monica Pier. Catch him on the Pier Bridge at 11:00 a.m. and he will be available for visits and photos from 11am to 3pm.
Rides on the historic Merry-Go-Round are free during Santa’s visit. Soda Jerks, the Pier’s old-fashioned soda fountain, will be on hand with hot cocoa and assorted holiday treats.
There will be caroling too. Santa Monica Pier is also partnering with Outward Bound to collect food items for families in need this holiday season.

The 3rd Annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl takes place today starting at 5:00 pm all over Santa Monica. With your official SMPC wristband you will receive drink and food specials at the participating locations, on Main Street, The Pier, Third Street Promenade and Wilshire.
Ticket includes entrance into the Official Pub Crawl After-Party and will automatically be entered into the pub crawl raffle with the chance to win prizes.

The Beachhead celebrates their 43rd Anniversary tonight at Beyond Baroque at 7:00 pm. The event will feature a screening of “Feeding the Sparrows by Feeding the Horses” which is a rare film about Venice in the 1970s by Moritz Borman.
The film, in English, was made by Borman for German television. It is not on VHS or DVD and is nearly impossible to get. This may be your only chance to see this classic film which includes Venice notables of the time like Moe Stavnezer, Arnold Springer, Sweet William, Frank Gehry, and the ever-popular Beachhead staff.
