Get out and enjoy Santa Monica’s Annual Fourth of July Parade produced by the Ocean Park Association (OPA).

The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Main Street and Pico Boulevard. The 2015 parade theme is “Ispirational Heroes.” 

This year’s parade promises to better than ever! So get out there and enjoy!!!

The Palisades Charter School hosts a 4th of July event. The 2015 parade theme is “Palisades Parade: Pride! Passion! Patriotism!” The Parade Grand Marshal is KFI AM 640 radio host Bill Handel! In Downtown LA…

2015-GrandPartk4TH-OF-JULYGrand Park celebrates the 4th with music, food, and an incredible fireworks display launched from the civic center skyline.

DJ sets are provided by KCRW; plus there will be live mural painting (gotta get your art fix…right?) and of course food trucks.

This is a family friendly event.

Be aware there will be a BAG CHECK….sorry kids NO BOOZ allowed (you know I won’t be at this one). Check the website….because they mention bag size / cooler size, water bottles, etc….Hey they want to be safe and you should too. So read about all the guidlines before going.

Doors open at 3 pm; Event runs from 3:30 pm  – 9:30 pm

Culver City Fireworks
Head to the West Los Angeles College. Culver City’s fireworks display is even longer this year than in previous years. Gates open at 4 p.m. and entertainment includes carnival games, music from band Cover 2 Cover and raffles.

There will be numerous food trucks on hand including Slammin’ Sliders, Bobo Ni Taco and Dogtown Dogs.

Be aware there is a $5.00 (suggested donation) to enter. Kids under fiver are FREE! 

Parking is $10.

Always a great show at Marina del Rey’s free annual 4th of July celebration, you can check out the fireworks (they get launched from a barge at 9 p.m.) at Fisherman’s Village, Burton Chace

Park or Mother’s Beach. Stop by the Marina del Rey VisitorJuly4-flag-fireworkss Center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to snag some patriotic giveaways like flags and beaded necklaces.

Fisherman’s Village is located at 13755 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey; Burton Chace Park is located at 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey; and Marina Beach (aka Mother’s Beach) is located at 4101 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey.

The fireworks begina at 9 pm explosives are shot from a barge across the marina’s main channel, mirrored by the harbor below.

Make sure to get there early because parking lots nearby fill up quickly.

Parking will be a nightmare…so ride your bikes, rollerblade, walk, run or skip. Just get there!!!
