Los Angeles Ballet presents “An Evening of Christopher Wheeldon” at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica on March 16 through 18, 2023. The evening will feature three iconic Wheeldon works, exclusively at the Broad Stage. Morphoses is a complex athletic ballet for four dancers, where the couples present pas de deux requiring flexibility and lyricism. Ghosts presents a realm where ethereal beings manifest in a shadowy playground. Fool’s Paradise suggests the atmosphere of an enchanted forest as in William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with music by György Ligeti, C.F. Kip Winger and Joby Talbot.
