Head to San Pedro for Los Angeles Fleet Week.
It’s the final day to celebrate the US Armed Forces at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. 
The four-day festival kicked off on Thursday and will host active military ships along the LA Waterfront and feature public ship tours of active Navy and Coast Guard ships (reservations available online), aerial demos, military equipment demos, live entertainment, educational activities, resource village for active military and veterans, STEM Expo, live music, food trucks and other festivities.
Parking adjacent to the event site is $2.00 per hour – with the first hour FREE!
Remote parking is available for a flat $5.00 rate, with FREE shuttles to the event site.

The Los Angeles County Fair kicked off on Friday, but it will be running for a whole month. The festival features live music, rides, livestock, gardening and wine tasting for the parents.
There is even an art exhibition at the fair…”Luminasia” (a massive walk-thru lantern experience). Be aware that “Luminasia” requires a separate ticket: $5 for ages 6 and up. Check Goldstar.com for discount tickets. Don’t forget there is always live music too.
It’s off the 10 Freeway, exit Fairplex Drive or White Ave.
Admission: Tickets prices range from $20 (tickets for children are discounted), to a full weekend pass with parking for an even better price. Be sure to check their website for more details.
