On September 5, 2025, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band takes the stage at the iconic Ford Theatre in the Hollywood Hills. The evening will also feature special guest Bobby Rush. The two Louisiana bluesmen, born 44 years apart, unite for an unforgettable evening of updated classics and soulful originals.

Raised on a diet of classic blues and rock ’n’ roll, Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum bandleader Kenny Wayne Shepherd has collaborated with everyone from B.B. King to Pinetop Perkins. Dirt on My Diamonds Vol. 2 his 2024 album was written at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Blues Rock Review wrote about his recent album, “Great hooks, great songs, great musicianship, the total package.” In addition Shepherd teamed up with Blues Hall of Famer Bobby Rush on this year’s Young Fashioned Ways. Inspired by their shared love of Muddy Waters—the album takes its name from Waters’ 1955 song—the two Louisiana natives born 44 years apart unite for an unforgettable evening of updated classics and soulful originals.

The Ford Parking

The venues does offer on-site parking, however it is extremely limited and is stacked. So if you want to avoid being blocked in, you can also park off-site in one of the nearby lots. Then you can take a shuttle to The Ford and back free (visit the website for details).
